The turn of the decade, 2020 was an unusual and trying year for everyone. But even in difficult times, dreams persist in the back of our consciousness, coloring our perception and giving us that extra nudge of motivation. In the fall of 2020, after months of designing, testing, researching, and dreaming, two friends went out on a limb and ordered whole bolts of custom fabric from a privately sourced supplier.
That was five years ago, and our passion for high quality fabric, for lovely designs, and for an unparalleled connection with our customers has only increased. We have branched into two separate companies since then, and served thousands of ladies from many countries. Retail has become The Fabric Collective (formerly Laurel’s Boutique) with a new owner and manager, and Ruby Designs is our wholesale company.
We strive to keep in close contact with the ladies who use our fabrics in the demands of busy family life, so that we can source only the most durable, practical fabrics. We also listen to the youth girls and empty nesters who want to wear dresses that are perhaps less practical, but reflect more of that light and loveliness they seek to hold in their hearts.
Our prayer is that God will be glorified and His daughters served well through our work here.
